Mural Fabric Drawings

1983-1985 - Neo-Pointalism

Using a stipple technique by banging a one inch flat-end fabric brush with fabric dies, images seem to walk out of the cotton or silk banners floating in space. Most of the murals are 3’5” wide and vary in length between 3’ and 8’ long. Figurative and organic themes intentionally seem to undulate from the fabric as well and an exploration into botanical forms.
